The spark of life
that allows each of us to breath,
to think, to move around, to play, to work, to dance
is inside everyone.
As I sit here breathing being in the moment
I feel peaceful
knowing that I am sharing my heart
and my message with the world.
My message is to encourage people
to follow their own heart
and share their message with the world.
The message you have to share
is yours alone to give.
No one else could give the same message
in the same way that you do.
There are people in the world
that can only understand this message
the way you explain it.
Let yourself
in a moment of calmness
feel what excites you.
If there is one thing you could encourage
people to do in their lives,
what would it be?
What in life excites you the most?
What do you enjoy learning about the most?
What do you enjoy sharing with others the most?
What could you stay up until 2 in the morning doing without getting tired?
Everyone has a spark of inspiration.
Ask yourself, what excites you,
what is your highest excitement in life?
Explore that and share it with others.

Your Reflection- Reflect on what this poem made you feel and think about. What inner guidance do you have for yourself? Once you have your own interpretation and message for yourself from your own heart and intuition, feel free to read my reflection.
Scot’s Reflection– I was inspired a couple years ago by the author and speaker Bashar’s single answer to many spiritual questions. He often told people “finding their highest excitement” is the answer to their soul purpose, what to do next in the life, how to be happy, how to be successful. and other similar big questions. On that note, this morning I was thinking about the idea of multiple intelligences by Howard Gartner. The idea is that there are hundreds of types of intelligence (musical, linguistic, interspatial, interpersonal, intrapersonal and hundreds more). When we encourage a child or adult to pursue their dominant intelligence, it results in their brain/heart/mind becoming more active. Then it is easier to learn traditional intelligences, such as verbal/linguistic and math. When we follow our own heart and pursue what excited us in life, we are the happiest and inspire others. I was reading the book “Pride Leadership” by Steve Yacovelli today. One of his stories mentions the lion in the movie “Wizard of OZ”. The lion was looking for courage. The Wizard of Oz told the lion he already had courage inside his heart all along. That is the same feeling I have about the spark that ignite our own highest excitement. It is inside each of us already. We just have to give that part of ourselves attention and nurture it. Then it will grow and blossom.
